In Home Lifestyle Newborn Session | Seacoast NH Fresh48

I met Megan when she came to the studio to model our new maternity gowns. I do alot of Fresh 48 newborn sessions, but it always feels a little extra special when I have been able to meet Mom or the family first. So I was very excited when she emailed us a few days later to book a session. We sent a few emails back and forth chatting and firming up the expected due date, hospital location and all the other little details we need to go over. I assured her I would not bug her asking how she was feeling, and checking in on her too much… which is never true! I feel like I am (almost :)) as excited as Mom is about the new baby coming! Unfortunately Megan emailed us a few days later to let us know that she was having some pre-term labor and was in the hospital until further notice. She said she was anxious, but both her and the baby were doing well. Meghan and I continued to email and check in with each other, knowing that the baby was now in charge and we would just pray things continue to go well and keep in touch. Thankfully, baby stayed put until everyone could feel that he was going to be strong and healthy enough to make his grand entrance into our world! We decided to do our session in their home a few weeks after he was born and it was WONDERFUL to meet the little man who had given us all such worry! He was absolutely perfect, and awfully cute!2018-07-13_0006

I love photographing families and especially new siblings. This time is so short and I always appreciate when people not only invite me into their lives in these fleeting (and chaotic) days, but also their homes!2018-07-13_00012018-07-13_0002.jpg

Thank you for sharing your morning with me, and letting me ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over teeny tiny babies toes and fingers! I hope you are enjoying your days as a family of four!2018-07-13_0009.jpg
