This sweet girl was UNDER 5lbs. That brings a new definition to tiny! I’ll just let you look at the size of her head in comparison to the size of her mother’s hands and let that sink in for a minute… 
She wasn’t born super early and she is perfectly, wonderfully healthy. She just comes in a sweetly small package! What a joy she and her family were to photograph!

Some of our favorite clients gave us the best surprise this year. They are sisters-in-law and had their babies one day apart! When they approached us with the idea to do some photographs of the babies together, we were game! And here is some of the resulting magic! 
And, of course, we also did individual newborn portraits for each sweet bundle and his family. 
I couldn’t resist getting some individual images of adorable big brother and sister at the end. Theirs smiles are just the best!
Amanda told me her she loves the color green on her little man and I already had this set up waiting to go! It was meant to be and I just adore the images that resulted!

There are two emotions that flow through me when I receive an email inquiring about photographing newborn twins: fist pumping delight, followed immediately by terror. It’s a rare treat to photograph newborn twins, which is part of the reason it’s so exhilarating, wonderful, and scary…sort of like riding a bull or jumping out of a plane. Only cuter. Much cuter.
That being said, these sweet little ladies couldn’t have been any more perfect.
..and where two babies are gathered, two photographers shall also be gathered. Big props to Sarah for her magical baby whispering, design, and photography skills.
